Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of GIS experience OR GIS certificate with 3+ years of experience.
• 1+ years of Utility or Pipeline GIS experience.
• Strong analytical, requirements-review, geoprocessing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced GIS analysis, modeling, data mining, and database-related project activities.
• Create GIS data from spatial and tabular sources and perform data conversion and migration.
• Develop specialized queries, maps, and reports based on customer requirements.
• Process and convert multiple data formats for integration into GIS systems.
• Perform QA/QC on versioned data before deployment to production.
• Develop testing scripts and document defects; perform testing as needed.
• Collaborate with users to identify and document required system and data changes.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend best-practice solutions.
• Identify new GIS technologies and applications to improve operations.
• Develop and maintain automated GIS processes using ModelBuilder, Python scripting, and related tools.
