Job summary

Genetic Visions is seeking a Laboratory Technician & Data Analyst to join our hybrid team in Wisconsin. This role blends genotyping lab work with data analysis, leveraging Excel and Python to manage and report results from high-throughput testing.

You will maintain records, support data quality, and contribute to continuous improvement across workflows, collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience required.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, Python preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed laboratory records and data analysis results.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment per standards.
• Perform DNA extraction, genotyping, and data analysis.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and customer communications.
• Support method validation and quality control checks.
• Coordinate SNP transfers and data submissions.
• Work with LIMS and reporting platforms.
