Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform including data processing services.
• Ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices: source control, testing, CI/CD.
• Experience building secure, production-grade cloud data solutions.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI-generated solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, production-ready data pipelines on GCP and orchestrate workflows.
• Develop integrations between data platforms and governance systems for metadata and lineage.
• Design secure, observable, cost-efficient cloud data solutions.
• Embed governance controls into engineering workflows via metadata capture and lineage.
• Contribute to intelligent automation leveraging governed metadata and business context.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver reusable, high-quality engineering solutions.
• Improve operations through automation, monitoring, testing, CI/CD, and platform engineering best practices.
