Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Supervisor to join our growing team. You will lead and mentor teams supporting top-tier sponsors while driving process improvements across the fund lifecycle, including newly launched and first-to-market funds in diverse sectors.

Your leadership will uphold Gen II’s standard of technical excellence, client service, and operational integrity, with a hybrid work arrangement three days in the office and two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance.
• 4+ years of Private Equity Fund/Investment Company Accounting & Reporting experience.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes in processes.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Superior problem solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to think independently, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Microsoft Office skills: Excel (pivots), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director/Managing Director managing daily Fund Operations.
• Oversee the operations and accounting of an existing fund independently.
• Interface and manage a client/business with limited guidance.
• Extract key economics from governing documents (LPAs) and prepare summaries.
• Supervise a small staff of accountants if needed.
• Oversee initial setup of client funds deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs) and review prior to MD approval.
• Perform analyses of Financial Reports and Private Equity transactions.
