Job summary

A growing private equity fund in New Jersey is seeking a Fund Accountant to join a lean finance team. This individual will support finance and reporting functions, including fund accounting and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in the financial services sector, preferably in fund accounting, and a bachelor's degree in a related field. The position is hybrid, with 3 days required in the office.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in fund accounting.
• Experience with private equity and/or credit funds is preferred.
• CPA candidate or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, including NAV calculations.
• Support timely and accurate management and financial information preparation.
• Manage finance function for a registered investment adviser.
