Method in New York, NY is seeking a full-time software engineer with strong full-stack experience. You will own backend and frontend tasks, collaborating with a small team to deliver scalable fintech features using Node.js, React, and MongoDB.

You’ll participate in code reviews, debugging, and shaping the roadmap by understanding customer needs, with a focus on reliable deployments and clean architectural decisions. In-office presence is expected at NYC hubs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Experience building scalable production-grade applications.
• Experience with Node/JS, React and MongoDB/NoSQL.
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts and break work into tasks.
• Balance speed with quality; manage technical debt when needed.
• Curiosity about FinTech trends and evolving tech.

Responsabilités

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform using React and Node.
• Investigate, debug and document issues with monitoring and logging tools.
• Contribute to code reviews and help interview new team members.
• Collaborate to define the roadmap by understanding customer needs.
