Job summary

Superhuman Labs, Inc. is seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to join the Developer Experience team in San Francisco. The role blends front-end and back-end work to accelerate engineering velocity inside Superhuman Docs.

You will build internal tooling, optimize CI/CD and release processes, and collaborate across engineering, design, and product to ship fast with quality. We value clear communication, autonomy, and a bias for impactful work, with a hybrid schedule that balances focused coding

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with full-stack exposure.
• Proficiency in two or more programming languages (Go, Python, Java, TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and developer tooling.
• Experience with large-scale build systems (Bazel or similar).
• Comfort with cloud-native environments and containerized workflows (Kubernetes).
• Ability to operate across monolith + microservices architectures and high-volume releases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded Developer Experience partner for the Docs business unit.
• Bridge engineering and business-unit leads to define DevX roadmap.
• Build full-stack internal tooling and self-service platforms.
• Improve release processes and CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe shipping.
• Streamline local development across hybrid monolith/microservices codebase.
• Work with build systems and containerized infrastructure to speed builds.
• Define and track productivity metrics and validate impact of changes.
