Job summary

Superhuman is hiring a full-stack Software Engineer for our Developer Experience team working on Superhuman Docs. This high-autonomy role focuses on making engineers faster and happier across a fast-moving stack.

You will stand up new tools, workflows, and practices with the central platform while staying deeply embedded with the Docs engineers. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, clear communication, and meaningful impact on release velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with full-stack exposure.
• Proficient in two or more languages (Go, Python, Java, TypeScript).
• Hands-on CI/CD, build tooling, and developer workflows.
• Experience with Bazel or similar large-scale build systems.
• Comfort with cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Hybrid monolith/microservices architectures and high release cadence.
• Strong empathy and communication; motivated to improve engineers' work.
• Aligned with our EAGER and MOVE principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded DevX partner and spokesperson for the Docs BU.
• Bridge engineers and leaders to form a prioritized DevX roadmap.
• Build full-stack internal tooling and self-service platforms.
• Improve release processes and CI/CD deployment tooling.
• Streamline local development across a hybrid codebase.
• Work with Bazel and Kubernetes to speed builds and releases.
• Create templates and documentation for ease of building.
• Define productivity metrics and validate impact with data.
