Job summary

Superhuman is seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to join the Developer Experience team and help accelerate engineering velocity inside Superhuman Docs. You will be the embedded partner, building internal tools, improving CI/CD, and shaping a scalable, hybrid architecture across a monolith and microservices, with cloud-native workflows on Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in software engineering with full-stack exposure.
• Proficient in at least two languages (Go, Python, Java, TypeScript).
• Experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation.
• Familiar with Bazel or similar build systems.
• Comfort with cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Experience across monolith and microservices with high-volume releases.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded Developer Experience partner for the Docs BU.
• Bridge the gap between engineers and business-unit leads.
• Build full-stack internal tools and self-service platforms.
• Improve release processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Streamline local development across a hybrid codebase.
• Work hands-on with build systems and containerized infrastructure.
• Create and maintain templates and documentation for easy building.
• Define and track productivity metrics.
