Nelnet, Inc. is seeking a skilled Full-stack Developer to help build the next generation platform in the lending industry. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native microservices and web applications.

The role emphasizes modern JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs, and scalable architectures. The position offers a hybrid work model with in-office and remote work, requiring US work authorization and a minimum of 5 years’

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years total experience delivering enterprise class web applications.
• 3 years current experience building SPAs with React/Angular/Ember, etc.
• Experience developing microservices.
• Experience building/developing dev environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience cloud environments.
• Solid testing understanding (unit/integration/e2e).
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub, etc.
• Experience with Material.io, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap.
• Strong OOJavaScript concepts and modern JS fundamentals.
• Passion for quality and clean scalable code.
• Desire to learn and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product/design to craft great product experiences.
• Deliver and evolve solutions with hands-on configuration, development, QA, and prototyping.
• Develop cloud-native microservices and infrastructure code in Agile environments.
• Participate in design, coding, testing and production release activities.
• Promote architectural initiatives balancing velocity with customer needs.
