Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) in New York seeks an Application Support Consultant for the Fixed Income Production Support team. You will resolve production issues, collaborate with traders and developers, and help maintain service delivery across our trading applications.

You will work in a hybrid setup with on-site majority and remote days, leveraging your Unix, SQL, and monitoring skills to keep systems running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a Front Office Trading Application (Fixed Income exposure preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting using server logs and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg TOMS or Broadway.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve production problems for supported applications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers on fixes and releases.
• Manage relationships with line of business and external vendors; validate applications after maintenance.
• Monitor services and propose improvements.
