Job summary

Gustavus Adolphus College invites a Front End Web Developer to join the Marketing & Communications team in Minnesota. You will build and maintain Drupal-based experiences, work with SEO, and ensure accessible, high-performance web pages.

This hybrid role blends on-campus collaboration with remote development. You will partner with Gustavus Technology Services, editors, and designers to deliver templates, components, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years front end web development with Drupal 9/10 experience.
• Experience in higher education or mission-driven environments preferred.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Twig.
• Strong SEO, metadata and analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve Drupal-based website and themes.
• Serve as CMS resource for editors; create templates and workflows.
• Conduct content audits for clarity and findability.
• Coordinate with IT on infrastructure, security and hosting.
• Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and perform audits.
