Ellsworth Adhesives, a global distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment, seeks a Front‑End Web Developer to enhance the company website with a focus on user experience, performance, and efficiency. Hybrid work is possible, reporting to our Germantown, WI HQ, collaborating with marketing and cross‑functional teams to deliver polished digital experiences that align with brand goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of front‑end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science, digital design, or related field.
5+ years of front-end development experience on responsive, content-driven websites.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
Experience with Makeswift and BigCommerce B2B Page Builder preferred.
Understanding WCAG accessibility and responsive design principles.
Experience with APIs, CMS platforms, and code versioning tools.

Responsibilities

Implements and maintains website updates to refine layouts and components.
Develops pages, templates, and reusable components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Assists with API, data source, and system integration to support site functionality.
Troubleshoots front-end issues, focusing on performance and cross‑browser compatibility.
Ensures accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards are met.
