Job summary

ATD American Society for Training and Development, Incorporated in Alexandria, VA, is seeking an FP&A Manager to strengthen planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis capabilities. You will be a key partner to leaders across the organization, reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, and supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, corporate finance or similar analytical role.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning; Workday experience preferred.
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting experience.
• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills; translate complex data into insights.
• Experience preparing financial analysis for senior executives; Board-level reporting valued.
• Advanced Excel and exposure to ERP, BI, or data-visualization tools.
• Proficiency with AI tools to improve processes, analysis, and automation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Own monthly and quarterly financial and management reporting for Board and executives.
• Partner with business leaders on budgets, forecasts, business cases and KPIs.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Improve FP&A processes, tools, and automation to scale with the organization.
