Job summary

T-Mobile USA is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to lead activation forecasting, planning and reporting for BTS products. You will deliver financial insights to leadership and partner with Accounting, Marketing, Field Operations, and other FP&A teams.

The role emphasizes advanced modeling, KPI analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast-paced hybrid environment requiring three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in forecasting and financial analysis with KPI management and variance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related area.
• Experience building and managing complex models; highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in data mining, analytics software and dashboard development (MS SQL Server, COGNOS/TM1, Teradata, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced MS Excel/PowerPivot).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring flexibility and creativity.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with AI tools – ChatGPT, CoPilot, Claude, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Big-picture thinking and process improvement experience.
• Creative, out-of-the-box problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven team-player mindset enabling others to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development of the annual plan, monthly forecasts, and weekly outlooks.
• Collaborates with business partners to socialize results, present recommendations, and influence strategy to achieve targets.
• Pulls data from SQL-based systems to create insights and key callouts for data analysis.
• Uses statistical and financial modeling to analyze results, identify variances, opportunities, and risks.
• Creates and maintains complex financial models using KPIs to forecast future performance.
• Measures KPIs across accounts, markets, units, and channels and communicates results via dashboards.
• Explains monthly variances versus forecast outputs.
• Prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans and future requirements.
• Proactively seeks enhanced data sets and continuous modeling improvements.
