Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Finance professional to join the FP&A organization in a hybrid role. You will move beyond data compilation to tell the story behind the numbers, partnering with business units on pricing decisions and new initiatives.

This position emphasizes thorough analysis, strategic insight, and cross-functional collaboration. We value 3+ years of relevant experience, a solid grasp of Excel/MS Office, and the ability to influence decisions with clear, concise analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide additional research and analysis for monthly reporting and budgeting.
• Create draft of ad-hoc analysis generated for the business client.
• Finalize monthly analyses of business trends and budget variance of financial results and KPIs for management reviews.
• Perform additional research to enhance business case analysis for pricing and investment decisions.
• Incorporate financial data into capital models/templates to support capital planning.
• Draft cash flow statements, identify issues/patterns and provide recommendations.
• Conduct initial strategic business analyses.
• Identify and communicate possible scenarios, risks and opportunities for performance reviews.
• Build the outline and/or update profitability/costing models.
• Analyze economic drivers (e.g., churn, renewals).
• Communicate with partners clearly.
