Datadog is seeking a Finance professional within the R&D Finance team to support budgeting, targets, and execution across product and engineering leadership. You will provide financial insights, coordinate with operational leaders, and help align the organization with strategic priorities.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, building financial models, and partnering with senior leadership to drive informed decision making.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional FP&A/Strategic Finance/Corporate Finance/Investment Banking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or economics.
• Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint with proven financial modeling experience.
• Clear, concise communicator with a team-player mindset and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to manage departmental budgets, including co-founder and CTO involvement.
• Manage financial forecasts and analytics across revenue, customers, product, expenses, and headcount.
• Oversee significant portions of spend, including AI and GPU expenditures.
• Conduct trend, ROI, and profitability analyses to support data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate quarterly Board materials with cross-stakeholder input.
• Assist planning/budgeting cycles with standardized tools and templates.
• Contribute to ad hoc strategic initiatives and potential acquisitions.
