Datadog in New York is seeking an FP&A Analyst focused on hosting cost and cloud gross margin reporting. You will own parts of forecasting, close, and reporting within the FP&A team, partnering with Engineering, FinOps, and Controllership to improve visibility into cloud costs.

The role emphasizes automation, planning tools like Pigment, and BI platforms (Tableau/Metabase), with a hybrid work model and a strong path toward broader cloud finance responsibilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics.
• Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, accounting, data analytics, or cloud finance/FinOps-adjacent roles.
• Strong Excel skills with large formula-heavy models.
• Attention to detail and reliability in deadline-driven close work.
• Clear, concise communication and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Support hosting cost and cloud margin reporting for the FP&A team.
• Contribute to savings reporting, cost allocation, and capacity planning reviews.
• Maintain hosting forecast models in Excel and Pigment.
• Participate in reviews with FinOps and Engineering to align on capacity planning and savings plans.
• Assist with automation opportunities in recurring close processes.
• Build proficiency with planning, cost monitoring, and BI tools used by the team.
