MSIG USA is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Intern in Warren, NJ for a hybrid, full-time internship. You will assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis, using Excel and PowerPoint to prepare insights for senior management.

Ideal candidates are pursuing finance-related degrees, with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn financial statements and key metrics.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and updating models.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting including variance analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Work with large datasets to generate insights for decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects such as cost analysis and revenue projections.
