Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Intern to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The role involves working with financial models, analyzing key performance metrics, and assisting in strategic decision-making.

The internship is hybrid in Warren, NJ, with an hourly rate of $25 during the program from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027. The analyst intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare presentations for senior management, and

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and updating financial models.
Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis of actual vs. forecasted results.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
Work with large datasets to generate insights and support business decisions.
Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial and operational data.
Assist in ad-hoc projects, such as cost analysis, revenue projections, and process improvement initiatives.
