Job summary

At T. Rowe Price, the FP&A Analyst supports the CFO Group and Legal, Compliance, Audit and Risk by delivering financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This role partners with stakeholders to provide insights that guide business decisions in a dynamic asset management environment.

The position involves budgeting, monthly close support, variance analysis, and the creation of leadership reports. Strong modeling and communication skills, plus proficiency with data tools, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with financial systems and data tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, or other dashboarding tools).

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO Group and Legal, Audit, Compliance and Risk stakeholders to provide financial insights on expense drivers, trends, and risks.
• Support budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Perform monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior periods) and clearly communicate key drivers.
• Support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial results.
• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reporting for leadership.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and summarize actionable insights.
• Support development of materials for business reviews and strategic planning.
• Assist the Senior Manager with advanced financial modeling related to Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Solutions and Procurement.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and communicate implications to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, and FP&A processes while ensuring data integrity and control.
