Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Financial Analyst to support COGS financial reporting for the US geography of Global Fixed Broadband. You will partner with Customer Care and Operations to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to optimize spend.

This is a hybrid, site-based role with the Carlsbad office, requiring 3 days on-site per week and remote work the rest. You will analyze costs, perform variance analysis, and prepare leadership reports while supporting procurement processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2-5 years of FP&A / corporate financial analysis experience, preferably supporting operations, supply chain, or customer service.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop KPIs, assess performance, and inform strategic decisions.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

COGS Analysis: Analyze and optimize operational expenses with cross-functional teams.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate quarterly budget process and update rolling forecasts.
Variance Analysis: Review monthly performance against targets and explain variances.
Data Reporting: Prepare financial reports and management materials.
Procurement Support: Initiate and track POs to ensure cost accruals
