Job summary

Horizon Media, a leading advertising and marketing firm headquartered in New York City, is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional to support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes. You will collaborate with internal teams to drive accurate reporting and strong controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Accounting degree, 1+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of US GAAP. CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Strong Excel and GAAP knowledge with attention to detail.
• Experience with GP/GL systems is a plus; CPA is favorable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Forecast & analysis: support annual budget and monthly projections; automate standard reports.
• Audit support: provide documentation and commentary for external requests.
• Month-end close: assist accruals/deferrals and variance analysis.
• Ad-hoc analyses: contribute to special projects as needed.
