Optimum in New York is seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst to lead high-impact budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning in the FP&A function. The role covers consolidation and distribution of regular reports and ad-hoc analytics, with a focus on data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has a finance background and 4+ years in accounting or finance, strong Excel, and experience with Hyperion, Oracle or Essbase. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze large data sets and build ad-hoc models.
• 4+ years in accounting or finance with budgeting/forecasting.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned areas.
• Collaborate with leaders to build budget/forecast/LRP reflecting goals.
• Consolidate and report budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze variances and provide commentary.
• Develop routine and ad-hoc financial analyses.
