Job summary

TBO Bank is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Prairie Village, Kansas. You will develop forecasting models, build pro forma analyses for strategic initiatives, and translate data into actionable recommendations to improve performance.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in financial analysis, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with banking metrics such as net interest margin and CECL. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis or planning, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis; familiarity with Python, BI tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with banking metrics such as net interest margin, loan loss provisions, CECL.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; detail-oriented and able to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain forecasting models for income, expenses, and balance sheet; model loan portfolio performance and scenarios; provide actionable recommendations.
• Performance Analysis: Deliver profitability, efficiency, and productivity analyses; assess financial implications of strategic initiatives.
• Regulatory and Compliance Support: Ensure forecasts comply with banking regulations; support regulatory reporting with accurate data.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Prepare dashboards and presentations for senior management; extract and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL.
