Job summary

Yerba Madre in California seeks an FP&A Analyst to transform financial and operational data into clear insights and drive strategic decisions. You will own budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and profitability analysis while partnering with cross-functional teams.

This hybrid role requires 3 days on-site in Los Angeles or Oakland, with strong Excel and AI capabilities, data-driven mindset, and ability to communicate complex information to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with 3–5 years of work experience.
• Advanced Excel and AI capabilities for modeling and automation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and enterprise-scale thinking.
• Preferred experience includes Public Accounting Audit, CPG, or beverage experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results focusing on profitability, trends, costs, and adherence to budgets.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc management reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop robust financial models using Excel, AI, and automation tools.
• Forecast operational and profitability performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate inputs into financial insights.
• Deliver timely forecasts and reporting with clear explanations of risks and opportunities.
• Support the development of KPIs to drive business objectives.
• Collaborate across the organization to align assumptions and improve accountability.
