Job summary

Washington County seeks an Aid and Assist Program Coordinator for the Forensic team within the Behavioral Health Division. You will develop and monitor community restoration services to offer alternatives to jail and the State Hospital.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, coordinating with courts, the Oregon Health Authority, OSH, defense and prosecution, and community providers, and ensuring compliance with ORS 161.370 and related rules. Hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a social service, clinical psychology, counseling, or related field with 3 years of behavioral health experience.
  • Certification by the Mental Health and Addictions Certification Board of Oregon as a QMHP or an approved clinical license.
  • Background check required after offer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily program operations and assign duties for program staff to ensure rapid, compliant follow-through.
  • Serve as central liaison to the State Court, OHA, OSH, defense and prosecuting attorneys, and community treatment providers.
  • Ensure court-mandated competency restoration services are delivered effectively in community and carceral settings.
  • Align daily workflows with Oregon Aid & Assist statutes (ORS 161.370) and related rules.
  • Support a hybrid work schedule as applicable.
