Job summary

Jobot in Dallas, TX is seeking a Process Piping Engineer to support capital projects across multiple US facilities. Hybrid schedule with onsite Mon, Tue, and Thu and remote Wed/Fri, plus up to 20% travel.

You’ll lead 3D piping models with AutoCAD Plant 3D, develop construction docs, and set CAD standards while collaborating with engineering leadership and plant stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of detailing and design experience in food/bev or consumer goods, strong P&ID/PFD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in drafting technology or related field plus at least 2 years of related experience.
• Associate degree plus at least 3 years of related experience.
• At least 5–7 years of progressive detailing and design experience, preferably in food and beverage or consumer goods manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Fluency reading P&IDs, PFDs, and Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs).
• Working knowledge of aseptic and hygienic piping‑design best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide AutoCAD Plant 3D production support for P&IDs and PFDs.
• Create 3D models of process piping, utility piping, and equipment.
• Develop construction documents, including orthographic plans and elevations, equipment layouts, and isometric views.
• Develop, implement, and maintain CAD design standards across engineering projects.
• Maintain and validate record drawing libraries and equipment schedules.
• Contribute to manufacturing-process development and equipment-layout optimization.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for AutoCAD software platforms.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with stakeholders.
