Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Process Piping Designer to work with process engineers on food and beverage facility projects. You will layout process and utility equipment in 2D arrangements and create 3D models and PIDs using AutoCAD, CADWorx, Plant3D, or Revit piping.

Travel up to about 25% to client sites; collaborate with architectural, structural, mechanical and control disciplines; produce bid-ready drawings and coordinate with the design team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required; bachelor’s in engineering preferred.
• 1–5 years in piping/layout for food & beverage facilities or similar.
• Work or school experience in AutoCAD.
• Work or school experience in 3D CADWorx, Plant3D or similar, Revit piping.
• Travel to client construction sites ≈25% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Layout of process and utility equipment in 2D and 3D.
• Create piping drawings from P&IDs and equipment arrangements.
• coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and control disciplines.
• Visit client sites to understand equipment arrangements and piping systems.
• Produce bid-ready drawings and 3D models; assist coordination with field teams.

Education

Associate Degree is required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
