Job summary

Servicon, a family- and women-owned local company with over 50 years in environmental solutions, is seeking a floor care technician to perform cleaning and janitorial duties to high standards. You will operate floor care equipment, maintain supplies, and ensure safety and compliance with client SOWs.

The role requires 1+ year of floor technician experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of floor technician experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Extensive floor care product knowledge.
• Working knowledge of multiple hard floor surfaces (marble, granite, VCT).
• Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties.
• Proficient verbal/written communication skills; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all client and Servicon safety programs.
• Perform floor care tasks including stripping/refinishing floors, carpet care, and operating specialized equipment.
• Perform work assignments in compliance with floor care procedures.
• Inspect areas to ensure work meets site procedures and SOW.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is clean and functional; report malfunctions.
• Track inventory/equipment and provide feedback to the supervisor.
