Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may replace degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection designs including sprinklers, pumps and alarms.
• Serve as QFPE on federal projects with life safety analyses.
• Review drafts for NFPA, UFC, and local regulations and sign off.
• Perform egress and fire hazard analyses and water supply evaluations.
• Collaborate with sales to prepare RFP proposals.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
