Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to analyze user stories, design specifications, and system enhancements. You will work independently and with teams to explore data, reports, and files to solve problems and answer questions. This is a growing FinTech environment.

The role involves collaborating with product owners, developers, and QA, maintaining test artifacts, and supporting multi-sprint cycles in a hybrid Austin-area setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, engineering or business related fields.
• 2+ years of experience as a business systems, product, technical, or data analyst.
• 2+ years of software system development experience, with primary focus in cloud technologies (preferably AWS).
• 2+ years of experience working in an agile team; familiar with JIRA and regular sprint cycles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, technical design, and business logic.
• Participate in story estimations and collaborate on approach ideation.
• Participate in system implementation projects (e.g., requirements documentation, system configuration, test documentation or execution, issue identification, and resolution).
• Oversee functional test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Help sprint teams work more efficiently when battling large system processes or leveraging homegrown suites.
• Execute and analyze core system functional tests.
• Document data mappings for external system integrations.
• Assist with internal training and release elevation.
