Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to solve problems, analyze reports, and create system specs and test artifacts. You will work independently and with teammates to analyze data and drive improvements across fintech platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in analytics, cloud technologies (AWS), agile experience with JIRA, and familiarity with AI tools. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to impact financial technology innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related business field.
• 2+ years as a business systems, product, technical, or data analyst.
• 2+ years of software system development experience with cloud technologies (AWS).
• 2+ years in an agile team with JIRA and sprint cycles.
• Experience in FinTech/Accounting (Tax) is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, Linux, data comparison/analysis, and API tools.
• Experience with AI tools (Claude Code).

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, technical design, and business logic.
• Participate in story estimations and approach ideation.
• Support system implementation projects (requirements docs, config, testing, issue resolution).
• Oversee functional test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Assist sprint teams with large system processes and homegrown suites.
• Execute and analyze core system functional tests.
• Document data mappings for external system integrations.
• Triage escalated UAT and production questions and issues.
• Assist with internal training and release elevation.
