Job summary

Nationwide Financial is hiring Representatives for the Solutions Center to assist customers on Life, Annuity, and Retirement Solutions products. You’ll handle inbound calls, learn products, and advise on solutions while navigating licensing steps as needed.

The role offers a 5–6 week training program, then a hybrid schedule with two in-office days weekly at specified locations, plus remote options where available. Minimum salary starts above $47k with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent. Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Licenses: FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 6 and/or 63) may be required or pursued on the job.
• Experience: 1 year in customer service or related roles.
• Knowledge: understanding of insurance/financial products and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from customers, plan sponsors and professionals and explain product suites.
• Interpret changes and enhancements to products; identify root questions and provide consultative guidance.
• Maintain thorough documentation of conversations to support relationship-building.
• Follow FINRA rules and Nationwide policies in all interactions and processes.
• Educate customers on tax implications, fees, surrender charges, and retirement benefits.
• Analyze issues to find first-time resolutions; escalate when needed and collaborate with partners.
• Participate in monthly leadership meetings to plan career development and growth.
