Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking associates to join its Life, Annuity, and Retirement Solutions customer service teams. You will handle inbound calls, respond to questions, process requests, resolve issues, and educate customers on products and services.

Training lasts about 5–6 weeks with November class starts. After training, a hybrid schedule with two in-office days weekly at Grandview Yard, OH or Scottsdale, AZ, with possible remote work based on role and location.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to incoming calls from customers, understanding product suites and providing servicing for current line-up.
• Interprets changes and enhancements to products, identifies needs and provides consultative guidance.
• Maintains records of conversations and follows documentation processes to support relationship-building.
• Follows FINRA rules, company policies, plan documents and state/local laws.
• Educates customers on tax implications, surrender charges and lifetime income options.
• Analyzes problems to determine proper actions and achieves first-time resolutions when possible.
• Participates in monthly leadership meetings to set career path goals and expectations.
