Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking a Representative for its Solutions Center to deliver extraordinary care to members, plan sponsors, and investment professionals. You will handle inquiries, interpret product changes, and strive for first-contact resolution while aligning with Nationwide's marketing and compliance standards.

The role requires an understanding of multiple product suites, strong communication skills, and the ability to document effectively.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in customer service or sales.
• High school diploma or higher; bachelor’s preferred in finance, business, economics or communications.
• Familiarity with FINRA rules and regulatory requirements; licenses may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors and members on various topics.
• Explain product suites and updates based on changes; identify underlying needs.
• Document conversations to support relationship building and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with FINRA rules and other regulations; follow company policies.
• Educate customers on tax implications, penalties, surrender charges, and plan benefits.
• Analyze problems to resolve at first contact; coordinate with internal partners as needed.
• Attend regular leadership meetings to set career path and expectations.
