Job summary

The Franklin County Chamber is seeking a Financial & Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support senior management with analytical reporting and regulatory filings. The role focuses on data gathering, variance analysis, and preparing statistical reports in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities include SEC filings preparation (annual/quarterly), tax schedules coordination, data reconciliation, and ensuring regulatory compliance across state and federal requirements, with up to 50% home office

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in finance, business, or accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting.
• Familiarity with financial statements and tax preparation.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to be at Home Office up to 50%.
• Must have familiarity with General Ledger software systems.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of annual and quarter-end SEC filings
• Prepare state regulatory filings for SEC Director review
• Compile and validate data for regulatory reporting, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Reconcile data between general ledger and regulatory reporting data
• Monitor regulatory filing deadlines and ensure adherence
• Maintain current list of all tax filings and coordinate with external tax experts
• Assist with preparation of tax schedules for local, State, and Federal agencies
• Maintain organized documentation to support tax filings and respond to regulatory/audit requests
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance tax reporting efficiency and compliance
• Document and maintain procedures for reporting and compliance related activities
