Merakey is seeking a Financial Assistant to join the IDD team in Coraopolis, PA. This hybrid position requires 2-3 days in office per week with remaining time remote, and offers a starting hourly wage of $20.87.

The role involves analyzing accounts, budget-to-actual variance analysis, internal billing, and generating various financial reports under supervision of the Finance Manager. Key duties include assisting with budget preparation, general ledger analysis, month-end reporting, and year-end

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years' experience in accounting or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Budget Manager in preparation of financial reports.
• Analyze various general ledger accounts.
• Prepare internal billing and track service usage.
• Maintain work papers and schedules for financial statements.
• Input data into general ledger software and financial statements.
• Assist with year-end data, schedules, and explanations of supporting materials.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budget variances.
• Compare payroll hours to budget and investigate overruns.
• Audit accounting reports for clerical accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Assist with budget activity and coding of expenditures.
• Support budget preparation and documentation gathering.
• Perform other related duties as required.
