Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a Financial Analyst (Product Costing) for a petrochemical client in Houston, TX. The role supports manufacturing sites, including Mexico, focusing on cost accounting, fixed assets, depreciation, and timely financial reporting with monthly journal entries and asset settlements.

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote after in-office training. Fluency in Spanish preferred; 3–5+ years finance/accounting experience required.

Qualifications

• Accounting, Finance or similar degree.
• 3-5+ years finance/accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of legal entity financial reporting with Company accounting principles, including review of management judgements, guarantees and impairments
• Period end closings for assigned sites, JV's and product lines
• Inventory analysis and reporting
• Cycle counting oversight
• Internal and external audit support
• Fixed asset settlements for Mexico and related depreciation runs
• IFRS16 valuation of contracts and setup of new agreements and monthly bookings
