Job summary

The University of California, Davis invites applications for a Financial Services Analyst within the FOA Business Partners. Under the general direction of the Financial Services Supervisor, you will provide business and accounting support across cashiering, payroll, AP/AR, purchasing, billing, travel, and reporting to senior leadership.

This 100% FTE role is hybrid (on-site and remote) based in Davis, CA, offering a salary range of $69,600–$124,200 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience in accounting, payroll, inventory, purchasing, accounts payable, inter-departmental billing and general ledgers.
• Knowledge of fundamental financial management practices and generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures.
• Ability to extract, analyze, and reconcile data from multiple systems and prepare complex, reliable reports for budget management and financial communication, with proficiency in Excel, databases, and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook).
• Organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, sound judgment, mentoring.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of internal controls and their role in protecting University resources, with the ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and University rules, regulations, and policies.
