Job summary

The University of Michigan Survey Research Center (SRC) is seeking a Financial/Business Analyst, Intermediate, to join the SRO Finance Group in Ann Arbor. After orientation, a hybrid schedule with at least three days on site per week may be requested.

You will analyze financial topics across payroll, HR, revenue, and procurement, and provide standard and ad hoc reports to managers. Qualified candidates have a BA in business/finance with 2–5 years of related experience, strong Excel and database

Qualifications

• BA degree in business or finance with 2–5 years in accounting or finance.
• Strong Excel skills with complex functions and database software for financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with staff at all levels on financial management.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis on payroll, HR, revenue and procurement.
• Create and maintain project-level budget and projections.
• Produce standard and ad-hoc financial reports for managers.
• Audit financial transactions and reconcile department processes.
• Monitor account balances and invoice status.
• Assist with sponsor requirements and proposals.
