UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Budget & Financial Analyst for a hybrid role (Tuesdays and Thursdays onsite). The position supports strategic budgeting, financial planning, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure resource alignment and operational efficiency.

You will analyze data, prepare reports, and help guide senior management decisions while contributing to long-term value for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of directly related experience.
• Experience with Adaptive and Workday is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and monitor financial budgets to align with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with department leaders to gather financial data and provide budgeting insights.
• Evaluate budget variances and propose cost-saving measures.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and projections to guide decision-making.
• Conduct regular financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist in preparing budget presentations for senior management.
• Perform other duties as directed.
