Urban Science in Detroit offers a Hybrid Workplace with in-person work on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Detroit, MI office. The Financial Analyst will support the Regional Finance Manager with monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics in coordination with the FP&A team.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting or MIS.
3-5 years of related work experience preferred.
Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills.
Experience with an accounting system.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end close duties including revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement reviews.
Support process of validating and reconciling results during month-end close.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Produce labor and revenue reporting and present insights to stakeholders.
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and KPI reporting.
