Job summary

Drive Social Media is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a hybrid role based in Saint Louis. You will analyze performance, prepare statements, and help drive strategic decisions with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in financial analysis, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. You’ll work across departments, ensure robust controls, and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Master’s or CPA/CFA preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
• Experience with business performance metrics, including revenue per head, cost efficiency, and P&L analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical and current financial data to estimate future revenues and expenditures.
• Prepare and review financial statements, operating records, and profit plans to assess organizational health.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project control; consolidation and auditing.
• Evaluate capital expenditures, investment opportunities, and return on investment.
• Identify trends, operational inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities through detailed financial reviews.
• Develop and implement financial models and concepts for planning, reporting, and control.
• Advise management on the effective use of resources and help interpret financial and budgetary assumptions.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Serve as a consultant to leadership on financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior finance or accounting staff when applicable.
