Job summary

Urban Science seeks a Manager to support client services on an account team in Detroit, delivering projects on time and within budget. The role focuses on client handling, relationship building, and presenting project conclusions to mid-level management.

Qualifications

• University degree required; technical degrees are strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years related work experience required (8 years' experience preferred).
• Strong communication, leadership and client-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for project outcomes, including delivery on time, within budgeted hours and at a high quality level.
• Manages client relationships and presents project conclusions to mid-level management.
• Leads or participates in presenting project status updates to client representatives or internal management.
• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure software is properly installed, set up and functioning at established quality levels.
• Supports and participates in required Urban Science training programs to improve client satisfaction (NPS).
• Works with manager to develop team-oriented goals and contributes to annual goal setting and performance reviews.
• Coordinates with teams to complete analyses and projects on time and with high quality.
• Proactively communicates with upper management to provide updates and report issues in a timely manner.
