Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong accounting background to support budgeting, financial reporting, analysis, and compliance for multiple facilities in New Jersey. The role requires in-office work Monday–Friday with a hybrid option after ramp-up.

You will partner with Executive Directors on monthly financial reviews, prepare board reporting, and analyze P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow to support performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of general accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including graphs.
• Strong MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Great Plains, Solver, or Management Reporter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual budgeting for multiple facilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages.
• Analyze P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, wages, and facility performance.
• Partner with Executive Directors/Administrators on monthly financial reviews.
• Prepare Board reporting, management analytics, and 5-year projections.
• Reconcile census and financial data.
• Perform internal audits of resident billing and entrance fees.
• Support Medicare cost reporting, tax-related filings, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare recurring invoices and monthly reconciliations.
