Job summary

TIAA seeks a Financial Consultant to provide in-person and virtual counseling for participants, new entrants and beneficiaries across TIAA products. The role includes financial planning, investment guidance and cross-team collaboration to meet clients' short- and long-term goals.

This hybrid-flex position requires regional travel at least 3 days/week with remote work remaining days, and grant of licenses within 120 days of start.

Qualifications

• University (Degree) Preferred
• Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) required within 120 days
• FINRA Registrations: Series 7; Series 63

Responsibilities

• Counsels participants on pension plans, tax-deferred annuities and investment options to help retain and grow assets.
• Educates, recommends and facilitates product purchases including mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529 and 403b, bank products, life insurance and more.
• Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional service and process transactions.
• Uses tax and investment knowledge to tailor financial advice to clients' needs and goals.
• Collaborates with cross-business partners to support clients and company initiatives.
• Develops and maintains relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors.
