Job summary

The Financial Consultant at TIAA provides in person and virtual counseling for participants, new entrants, prospects and their representatives on the full spectrum of TIAA products and services. Qualifications

• University (Degree) Preferred
• 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
• FINRA Registrations: Series 7; Series 63
• Licenses and Certifications: Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) - Multiple Issuers required within 120 Days

Responsibilities

• Counsels participants on pension plans and investment options to help clients retain and increase assets.
• Educates and facilitates new product purchases (mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529/403b, bank products, life insurance).
• Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide service and execute requests.
• Uses tax and investment strategies to inform financial advice.
• Coordinates with internal teams to support products and services.
• Maintains relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors.
