Job summary

Commerce Bank in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Systems Analyst III & Senior to provide critical data analysis and reporting across applications. You’ll support funding, pricing, and balance sheet decisions through reliable system insights.

The role requires a finance or accounting background, 2+ years of systems experience, and proficiency with SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and Business Objects. A hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent.
• 3+ years financial services experience.
• 2+ years systems experience.
• FIS InTrader experience a plus.
• Series 52, 7, 63, and SIE desired, or able to obtain within specified time frame if requested.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business and systems resource, implementing technical solutions to business needs
• Utilize systems to generate reports and develop and produce requested reports
• Monitor systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, troubleshoot, and respond to user inquiries
• Research, analyze, assist with the design, testing, and implementation of applications, sometimes working in cooperation with internal departments and vendors
• Collect data and update systems information via manual input or upload
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
• Document business and systems requirements, define scope and objectives, translate requirements into specifications, and formulate systems to reflect business unit strategies
• Provide audit support, consultation, and recommendations to business teams in resolving technical problems
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide reliable analysis used in decision- making around funding stability, pricing, and balance sheet optimization
• Contribute insights that influence enterprise-level funding and collateral strategy beyond day-to-day system support
• Provide support to the Public Entity Collateralization team
• Act as liaison between Corporate Finance, product, operations, and deposit partners to ensure liquidity and collateral strategies are executable
