Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz seeks a Finance and Accounting Professional to serve as a strategic financial partner for seven core facilities. The role focuses on forecasting costs, budgeting, and ensuring financial sustainability to support groundbreaking research.

You will collaborate with core directors, the Dean's Office, and external partners on complex budget reconciliations and reporting. Your work will span grant expenditures, payroll funding distributions, and construction funding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field and 2 years of professional experience, including financial accounting and post-award grant management.
• Experience with financial forecasting and budget analysis.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and reconcile complex program and project budgets for core facilities, including annual cost studies and financial projections.
• Manage construction/remodel funding processes for core facility expansions and upgrades.
• Develop and oversee a standardized invoicing system for cores and ensure accurate reporting and timely payments.
• Coordinate procurement support for large equipment and manage inventories and depreciation schedules.
• Analyze grant notices, manage sponsored project expenditures, and forecast laboratory budgets.
